Notes: Yes, it's a Severitus Challenge fic ("Snape is Harry's father"), but very well-written. Deep, rich characterisations; intelligent dialogues; interesting socio-political discussions. The interactions between Snape and Harry are very intense. Also: a slashy Snape/Lupin subplot.

Summary: Harry is very young and has been sent to live with Snape. He finds it easier to make friends with the forest creatures than the mean old man.
Notes: One of the loveliest stories I've ever read in this fandom. Natt takes you back to the wonderful (if sometimes frightening) childhood days!
